Jeep knockoffs??? These are original MUTTs in Pakistan. The tops are locally fabricated (/made), and when it comes to Jeeps (MUTTS, WILLY'S) etc, their fabrication locally is very huge. These are sort of vehicles for the poor that they can fix in anywhere, anytime. Just google it, Pirate4x4 has many and huge threads of the Pakistani fabrication for Jeeps.

The M151 was in many respects more capable than the contemporary CJ due to extremely light weight and excellent weight balance. Only problem - a swing-arm rear suspension that was capable of lift and tuck-under at high speed. Enough of a problem that soldiers hooning them and dying led to an act of Congress banning them from sale to the US public - it's why you've never seen one on US roads. Truly excellent vehicle in offroad use, though.
